UI/UX Designer

Job Description

Job Type: Hybrid;
Experience: Must have 5 - 8 years of hands-on experience.


USS Technologies looking for UI/UX Designer with,
• Relevant degree such as Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Design, Computer Science, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Education, Computer, Engineering, Visual Communications, Business.
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar role.
• Portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX design projects, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, InVision, etc.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, user interface design best practices, and usability principles.
• Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating feedback into design iterations.
• Strong visual design skills with an eye for typography, color, layout, and branding.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and designing for various screen sizes and devices.

Skills

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements.
  • Run workshops to help understand requirements, and to generate and iterate through multiple ideas
  • Design an experience that impacts work flows used by thousands of people daily
  • Work on projects across mobile and desktop platforms
  • Organize content to show hierarchy and deliver UX documentations (site maps, user flows, wireframes, specs) to illustrate user journeys
  • Work closely with business leaders to facilitate functional requirement discussions
  • Collaborate with team members (product managers, front end developers, and other UX designers) through the entire design and development process
  • Translate metrics into meaningful user interfaces
  • Conduct user research and usability testing
  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, BAs and management to collect requirements and filter those into the UI/UX design and implementation plans
  • Collaborate with product stakeholders to define and design new products, features and mockups
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define project objectives.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Develop high-quality visual designs, considering branding guidelines, typography, color schemes, and iconography.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs, maintaining design consistency and integrity.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and usability testing results.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI/UX design.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and promote a user-centric approach throughout the design process.
  • Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional team meetings.
  • Maintain design documentation and assets for handoff to development teams.
