USS Technologies looking for Business Analyst with,
• Relevant degree such as Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Business/Administration, Education, Economics, Accounting, Technical, Information Systems.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in the IT or software development industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
• Experience with business process modeling techniques and tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio).
• Proficiency in requirements management and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working in Agile teams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings to gather and document business requirements.
  • Analyze and evaluate business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, use cases, and process flows.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to ensure alignment on requirements.
  • Facilitate discussions and workshops to elicit requirements, resolve issues, and make decisions.
  • Assist in the prioritization of requirements based on business value, urgency, and feasibility.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current processes and desired outcomes.
  • Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.
  • Provide ongoing support and clarification to development teams during the implementation phase.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation, such as user guides and training materials.

  • Properly document and transition support of new business technology processes to IT
  • Perform continual process improvement assessments to ensure business processes are not becoming inefficient or increased risk
  • Drive the reduction of overall site operating costs and recommend process and policy changes to achieve increased operational efficiencies to compel greater accountability across lines of business and enabling functions
  • Benchmark costs internally to ensure the site is tracking at or below these benchmarks
  • Spearhead special activities to address cost related issues escalated to the CAO to promote a culture of cost consciousness in the site at all levels for both business and enabling functions
  • Works with IT and business personnel to understand business strategy, requirements and their impact to products and capabilities of legacy and new applications/systems
  • Work with IT technical analysts/developers to ensure clear understanding of functional specifications to ensure effective development of impact assessments and required changesv
  • Develops repeatable queries to be employed in production problem resolution
  • Responsible for the full data life cycle from business requirements analysis and data feed definition, to data mapping and testing
